Class Leader Bio(s): J. Mark Fisher received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law in 1984. He has limited his practice to the field of Estate Planning, Probate, Wills and Trusts, and Nursing Home Medicaid Planning for over 30 years and has been teaching classes at UWF for 28 years. J. Mark Fisher has offices in FWB, Pensacola, and Panama City.

How to pack, take what is needed, and what not to take. Karen and Denny will share their own knowledge and experience and bring in professionals to assist. The class will be interactive with all sharing their info. This is a 4-week class starting September 11.

Class Leader Bio(s): Karen and Denny Lauer love to travel on land or at sea and have lots of experience to share. Whether giving general information or specific tips, they have fun in their classes and make sure all enjoy.

Course Description: This class is designed for the pickleball player who has a basic understanding of the rules of the game, knows how to score and can serve and return the ball consistently. The class will be run with 30 minutes of drills and 30 minutes of instructed game play.

Class Leader Bio(s): Stan Budzinski has been playing pickleball for 3 years and loves sharing and playing the sport with others. Danny McKinney has been playing pickleball for 2 years and loves sharing and playing the sport with others.

Notes: Please bring your paddle. If you don’t have one, we have a few that can be borrowed. Gym shoes are required, preferably court shoes.

Course Description: What happens when the system gets it wrong? We rely on the criminal justice system to dispense justice, right? What does that look like? Does it mean always going for a conviction? What does it mean for the victims? Why do guilty people “get off” through technicalities? How do we explain wrongful convictions? Can we fix that? Lots of questions, I know. You might have just as many after this class!

Class Leader Bio(s): Dr. Kathy Johnson received a BS in 1987 and MS in 1989 in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. Her PhD in Criminology is from Indiana University in Pennsylvania. She has been a faculty member in Criminology and Criminal Justice at UWF since August, 2000.

Course Description: Are you ready to learn how to use your iPad effectively? This course will take you from the very basics to making your iPad your own. Individual needs will be addressed to make sure everyone has an opportunity to learn. We will explore the most popular iPad tricks and topics, including how to get the most out of your iPad experience. Students must bring their own iPads to class. This is a six-week course meeting on September 11, 18, 25, October 2, 9, and 16.

Class Leader Bio(s): Dolores Noechel is a former Ruckel math teacher, OCSD Instructional Technology and Media Services Specialist, and Assistant Principal at Fort Walton Beach High School.
