CLL of Fort Walton Beach - Course Catalog & Registration

Course Description: This class is a basic genealogy class and will include elements from prior beginning, introductory, and fundamentals classes. The intent of this class is to build and reinforce a foundation of genealogical concepts and techniques to help the participant understand the genealogy process. The class includes eight 90-minute sessions of structured presentation, plus class participation.

Class Leader Bio(s): Ed Pfeifer is a retired classroom teacher, school administrator, curriculum coordinator, and Deputy Chief of Education for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools in the Pacific Area. He has been researching his family history for more than twenty years.

Notes: Class participants should bring a desire to use the skills and techniques taught in the class to extend their knowledge of their family’s history.
