Course Description: Think you know stuff? How sure can we be that we really know anything, and what kinds of stuff are even out there to be known? This course explores how philosophers, ancient and modern, have tried to tell appearance from reality using reason and experience. Along the way, we’ll test their ideas on real-world puzzles about what, if anything, we can truly know about ourselves and the world. No background in philosophy needed … just curiosity and a willingness to think about thinking.

Class Leader Bio(s): Dr. Charles Myers is a retired USAF judge advocate who taught philosophy at the USAF Academy and Northwest Florida State College.
